At Plain Farms we use traditional methods to raise our animals using ingredients that exclude genetically engineered ingredients and GMO (Genetically Modified Organism).

Animals were fed a diet that is free from corn and corn products.

Animals were fed a diet that is free from soybeans and soy products.

Plain Farms agriculture practices exceed the NOP (National Organic Program) criteria while avoiding extra expenses for a government form to be able to use the USDA regulated word "organic". Plain Farms let our organic certification lapse in 2022.

Plain Farms does not use any vaccines in our animals from birth to market. All breeding stock is also free from vaccines.

Plain Farms does not use antibiotics in our animals.

At Plain Farms we bring our animals through fresh pastures allowing for increased soil fertility and clean food sources for our herds and flocks.

Nitrate-Free (Plain Farms Standard):

No synthetic nitrates or nitrites. No celery powder or plant-based curing substitutes used for curing. Minimally processed with simple ingredients.

Celery-Cured (Plain Farms Standard):

Made without synthetic nitrites or nitrates. Cured using naturally occurring compounds from celery to develop traditional flavor and preservation.

MSG-Free (Plain Farms Standard): No added monosodium glutamate or artificial flavor enhancers. Flavor developed naturally through quality meat, seasoning, and traditional processing.
